Can you customize it to our industry and audience?
Yes, and not just by dropping your logo onto a slide.
Mark reviews your conference theme and joins a planning call with your team before the event, so the frameworks land against what your people are actually dealing with. If your theme is growth, the content pulls toward BIG UNREASONABLE DREAMS. If you are coming out of a merger, it pulls toward alignment.
The examples come from a deep bench across insurance, real estate, multifamily, medical device, manufacturing, and technology, not from a script.
How far in advance should we book?
About three months is comfortable. That gives us room for the planning call, the theme review, and coordinating drumsticks with your event team.
That said, if your date is sooner, ask anyway. Mark takes short-notice bookings when the calendar allows, including stepping in for a speaker who has cancelled on you.
What do you need from our AV team?
Nothing exotic, but two things matter.
First, the room needs a free-standing or flown sound system. Ceiling house sound will not work for this presentation, and that is the one requirement we cannot flex on.
Second, Mark needs one AV tech on the sound board during the presentation and a 30 minute sound check beforehand.
Beyond that: a stage at the front and center of the room, no podium, no meal service during the keynote, a confidence monitor, and laptop connectivity that supports Apple. The full technical rider is written for audiences of 400 or more, and we are happy to work with your setup for smaller groups. Send it to your AV team early and we will handle the rest with them directly.
How long is the keynote?
Most bookings run 60 to 90 minutes, and the format flexes to your agenda. Mark also runs a breakout session alongside the main keynote when the agenda calls for it, and can take on emcee duties across a multi-day program.
