Rock Star Trait # 2-Find your Purpose!

#2 Find your path and purpose in life. Everyone has a purpose and natural talents. A few people are really good at writing. Various people are good at sports. A number of them are good at grinding out the work. Few people are really good at managing projects, and even fewer are good at leading and managing people. - The first thing everyone should do is look inside them and figure out what is in his or her hearts, and develop a plan follow it. So many top-level musicians, athletes, and executives I knew over the years, admitted to me they were unsatisfied in their lives. They had success; the toys, and trappings, like the big house, the fancy cars, the country club memberships, and social illusion of having it all, yet inside, they were unfulfilled and knew there was more. They never did the "look inside you" process to figure it out. In many cases they followed the status quo did not take the road less traveled. It takes guts to go outside of your comfort zone, we learned that in lesson 1.
- Everyone should take some time out, hit the pause button in life, and go to a place where they feel comfortable (a mountain top, a beach, or a big rock by a river – you know what is right for you). Once you get there, have a pen and paper (or a recorder) and start writing about your dreams, visions and goals for you. Go deep inside and find out what is really important, ask what makes them so important and then ask why ands ask why at least five times.
